I don't think it even comes down to that as far as condoms and classes; what's the root of this pre-pubesent pubesence. The answer: PCB's in plastics 'n styrofoams like water bottles 'n meat trays. Now that science has finally proven that it's happening in both genders-they caught on with girls in the mid-90's, we need to focus on that.
And as to sex Ed, has anyone else noted that teaching it along with preaching condoms only seems to exasterbate and encourage the horny little critters looking to explore new frontiers? Not to take an overly religious approach, but studies show that societal abstenance in countries with similar issues to ours on this leads to less trouble than just handing them a rubber and saying, "When you do it, use this."

With all of our food sources, (chicken, pork, and beef), being fed steroids to grow bigger and faster, why should we be surprised that people who eat it are also developing faster? If you think of the problems that Americans are having with obesity, you can be certain that much of it is due to eating meat that is contaminated with growth hormones.

We've known for decades that girls were reaching puberty faster each generation. During the Civil War girls reached puberty at about age 16, but now some have matured by as young as 9, with the average being around 12 or 13.

What? Why is this news? I'm in my late 20's, and I don't know anyone who hit puberty after 12. I wore a bra in 3rd grade, and was fully mature in 4th.

And what's with the badly written humor? That opener could have been a witty joke, if it were written a little less offensively, and with more professionalism.

Hmm, I heard the same thing about the girls. I once had a conversation with a female friend that pointed at young girls, age of approx 13 years, walking around in bikini, showing big boobs. Seriously. I didn't notice it till she told me. She blamed the cause of their rapid boob growth on the hormones found in milk. Boy, these little girls were so young.

It basically depends upon the individual child and their development, some boys are slower to mature then others ... their physical structure and genetic makeup all play a part in this aspect, but that doesn't mean anything, it's what they've been dealing with on a personal level while growing up. There are alot of boys growing up without their fathers present in their lives and they witness firsthand what their own mothers have dealt with from less mature adult males who might have age on their side yet they have not matured pschologically or emotionally. I for instance have an 11 year old son that would in fact set a better example along the lines of communication with regard to relationships and the knowledge of what must be done in order to show responsibility once a life has been conceived. Boys who have struggled through their existence with a single parent of either sex whether it be a mother or a father tend to grow up faster as well. It's an unfortunate thing in society these days. However alot of single mothers who have left abusive relationships with the fathers of their children in order to preserve and protect their children have made a correct choice in staying single to avoid further abuse to be induced upon their children as well. This is something alot of single mothers are doing now, they remove theirselves and work to protect their children and don't enter into another relationship so that their sons have some decent representation of what a responsible parent is. Alot of those boys who have matured earlier both physically and emotionally/mentally have bypassed even some 35-40 year old men simply because they were raised right, without abuse, without various partners that arent' permanent in thier mothers life and therefore they learn how to become responsible early on... unlike the fathers that devastated their lives by not financially supporting them and leaving the entire burden upon the mother. Most of the boys coming from those single family environments are turning out to be quite respectful of women because they don't desire to use women for sex and they know the scoop on STD's because they don't want to die, in fact they are seeking something much higher then the typical immature male's desire for a (bj) as stated by some in this forum. I know ... I've got two boys and a girl and I'd venture to say that both boths will remain respectful and choose females that want real relationships rather then sex for the purpose of release. It is very juvenile to consider sex in relation to just being an act these days, boys are learning from their single mothers ... exactly what type of impact it will have upon innocent lives when a male doesn't consider what his sexual actions can produce in the line of responsibility. Sadly enough too many children had to grow up without two parents that actually stayed committed and those boys suffered from financial backing, emotional availability and physical support from their abandoning fathers and they learned through their own grievious loss in life how detrimental it is to harm a child in that aspect and I believe their mothers burden of grief has taught them that if they didn't help, no one else would and that's what they did. So to compare a 50 year old to a now 10-12 year old by can't compare, it's not something that these boy-men can relate to since they chose to take up housing and bar hopping, career moves and using various women and disregarding their own flesh and blood as a habit in life. Unfortunately I've met so many men in their 30's 40's and 50's who don't hold a candle to my 11 year olds mindset and he's even said it before... "Mom I can't have a better relationship with a woman than that guy can, get rid of him." If that isn't sad, then nothing is and these are males that stand in high places. So... take a look at the morals and values of the people in this country now... boys are mad, they might not be talking about it but every single boy that was in fact abandoned by his father or mother for that matter will indeed look at life a different way then a young man who had both parents love and attention to feed him in every aspect. Besides... when a child receives the love he deserves .. his self esteem alone allows him to make better choices and he doesn't define himself by the amount of sex he gets, he determines his own character by his own value of himself and his willingness to accept responsibility for his own life and then the lives of others... alot of grown men haven't done that yet, some can't commit to taking care of a beta fish, muchless a dog or other animal, and a child falls low on the list of what some of these men can handle. There are some men that have learned early on ... that is how to conduct their life outside ofpeer pressure and thats because they've experienced having a strong parent that didn't define their own life by having a partner around to have sex with. It's just something a smart parent realizes will strengthen their children - not to bring home sex partners while their children are growing up. How a man acts towards his wife defines how his son will treat a woman, so it's best to remove that particular child from a bad example and allow the child to have a choice by following the norm. My 25 year old son doesn't use women for sex, and he prefers a real relationship/friendship over the way his friends choose to direct their sexual affairs. My younger son has a deep respect for women as well... and I suspect both will remain steady in their choice for a sound and decent woman who shares the same mindset. I'm not so sure that any of this is merely a matter of maturing as it is selecting not to be self centered, selfish in respect to considering their own life and not the life of another. This country is saturated by selfish and inconsiderate people in general.

Ooops I typed so fast I flubbed up! I stand corrected.... I meant both of my "boys" and in respect to what my little 11 yr old son said... I meant that he said... "I CAN have a better relationship then that guy can Mom and I'm only 11 year old." Out of the mouth of babes. The best bet for any Man/boy (like my 11 yr old son) or Boy/Man to remember is... Don't do anything to a female at any age that you wouldn't want done to your mother, sister, or daughter. That seems to touch base in a whole new way ... even in respect to a typical pervert. With regard to the scientist measuring the penis of these boys... I think that is definitely taking things just a bit too far ... I'd have them by the balls and in court if they did that to my boys. I am a father of 3 boys and I have 5 neices. I can tell you the best time to start teaching is when they first start asking where baby's come from. You teach them to respect the miracle of conception, themselves and others. You explain to them it's better to say no and NOT to do it and to wait until marrage or when they are older. Theres nothing wrong with being a virgin boy or girl. If they are to be having sex early for whatever reason they must always wear protection. The problem is peer pressure and parents who don't talk to their kids or wait until it's too late. I was born in the early 50's and was always told sex was filthy and you would go to hell, while at the same time Mom and Dad were doing it in the back seat at the drive in. That is precisely what's wrong with the world today, nobody is ever told the truth. The sexual revolution during the 60's is a fine example of the failures and the lies of parents during the 50's. Procreation is a fact of life, sacred and must be protected and respected to guarantee the child grows up with a level head and respectful..

Juliet was 13 and Romeo was probably 14 or 15 at the most. And that was centuries ago. Kids mature physically, and then we expect them to wait till marriage at 20 to 25? Tain't gonna happen. Give 'em plenty of privacy to mastubate. Warn them that sex requires a lot of maturity, then give them condoms and birth control.
