An AP report says that Congressional moms have a room of their own where they can go to breast-feed. It's called -- their term, not ours -- the "boob cube."The official phrasing is "lactation suite," and you may see them popping up in offices all over the country. Maybe your workplace already has one.

Very few companies would find it impossible to find a little nook or empty closet that could be transformed into a lactation suite. Can be as basic or extravagant as the company can afford/wants to afford. It's just smart business.

Krystal said...There certainly should be a sanitary, private place for nursing moms.
If you're going the formula route though, there are a bunch of free samples I just got on Http://bit.ly/BABYlanding When you get to the site look for their "Free Stuff" tab.

Sara said...Absolutely... my favorite point of view on a company providing a separate room was this... " Would you want to have to eat your lunch sitting on a toilet? No? Then why should breastfeeding Moms have to pump in the bathroom?"
