ANT HILL said...My New Years Resolution is to read a book to my children everynight and have my son and daughter (who are 6 yrs old twins) read a book to me as well. I recently went back to work so I do not see them as much as i use to, they got used to me being home as soon as they got home so this 15 minutes at night is just for us. They each get one on one w/ me and we all enjoy it.

But I know that I would feel better about myself and be more confident if I took better care of myself and improved my health and looks so I'm working on it this year.

Last year I was successful in losing the last of the 106lbs that I would not have had to lose in the 1st place if Doctors had been listening to & believing what I said! It HAD been my THYROID ALL ALONG!
This years challenge is a little tougher. After years of intense Migraines & eye problems & not being taken as seriously as I should have been. I was just diagnosed with a TUMOR behind my rt eye now so large that it is pushing my eye out of its socket & it is a life threatening surgery due to the high risk of hemoraging. After 6 weeks of every high tech scan available & working with team of very specialized surgeans, we have hopes to be able to head to surgery by the end of January. I HAVE TOTAL FAITH THAT GOD WILL CARRY ME THRU THIS JUST FINE. LIVING WITH LUPUS I'VE HAD A LOT OFF PRACTICE IN TRUSTING GOD AS WELL AS RELYING ON GOD FOR STRENGTH AND COMFORT. THIS WILL BE NO DIFFERENT.
Underlying message: Listen to your body, don't listen to Doctors "just" because their name starts with the prefix Dr.! & just because you have one major health issue or disease does NOT mean that it is the cause of all of your health problems or symptoms!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
