We're completely in favor of starting kids out on the road to fitness from an early age, but this Russian swinging baby exercise video wasn't exactly what we had in mind -- in fact, every pendulous motion makes us cringe.
Though the folks over at Gawker report that Russian swinging baby videos are a meme, we can't find any mention of it over at the Internet Meme Database.
You really can only see the baby move at the beginning and end of the clip, so hopefully the whole thing is just the product of a bad sense of humor and a lousy video editing job.

Keleigh said...You have to be kidding me! This is terrible. I'm all for moving your babies limbs for early exercise but what she is doing is damn near shaken baby syndrome!!!

AMC said...This is sick. WTF is this terrible mothers problem. It looks to me that she is doing this to exercise herself, not the baby. At the very least, she can cause this baby to receive a Nurse's Elbow injury, if not Shaken Baby Syndrome (and that's all if she doesn't lose her grip and actually fling the baby in the bushes). And on top of it all, the baby looks like it's crying to me. This bitch needs to be locked up for child abuse and not be allowed to have children in her presence. Bad mother indeed.
