Well one day he decedes he is going to learn how to ride his bike . Mind you that meant taking off the training wheels nad helping him with that. Then after he finally got over beong mad and didlearn to do it. Then I had to teach him how to ride by him self. And all he did was keep telling me to let him go and then he would fall. then he would get mad at me. Mind you we were doing all of this from the time I got home at 3.30pm and my wife was due to be home by 6.00pm and he was going to learn how to doit before she got home. He just keep doing it over and over again no mater how many times he fell or reckedhe just kept going. And I promise you that when my wife pulled in the drive way he was riding the bike up and down the alley all by hiself and he could not be prouder nor could I. I will never forget that day. And he wanted to ride that bike all night until the next day. He was a very happy boy that day.

Millertime said...This might be gross to some... but just today I wish I had a flip camera to capture my son's first poop in the potty. We were all so happy and I wanted to really share the moment with my parents in California, who only have this one grandson (we live in Michigan). To some, it is TMI, but to me, it was such a momentous occasion and my son was so happy when we did the happy poop dance. Priceless.

roldancate said...The moments that I wish I could have caught on camera were when both my children took their first steps. I was a divorced mom and had to work 2-3 jobs at a time to support them. I heard about my kids taking their first steps from my mom who babysat for me.
I wish I could of had it on tape to at least view it since I could not be there in person.
