What you need: You will need oven mitts, containers and toothpicks.

How to play: Divide the children into equally numbered teams. Count out six toothpicks for each player. Give each team a pair of oven mitts and a container.

The rules: At the starting signal, the first players on each team will put their six toothpicks on the floor, then put the oven mitts on, and try to pick up each toothpick and put them in the container. After the player has completed the task, he will tag the next player to do the same thing. Play continues until all players have put their toothpicks in the container.

How to win: The first team to get all of their toothpicks in the container is the winning team.

What else you need to know: You can use different colored toothpicks for each team, if you wish.
