You were overcome with happiness and tears when your baby started to crawl on his own. A few weeks later, you found yourself out of breath and exhausted from chasing your little cruiser all over the house.
You realized it was time to baby proof the house. Safety gates are essential to ensure your child's safety, but chunky plastic gates? Not so chic.
Munchkin gates combine safety and style, and we're giving away three designer wood and steel models.

Ariel said...My first son used to crawl by dragging one leg behind at a time. We were concerned, but since he alternated we didn't think anything was actually wrong with him. Then when he walked I had a feeling of excitement like how you feel after a first kiss with that special someone. After being married for years I thought that level of excitement was gone.
Now he's a walking, talking, reading, math problem solving kindergartner and I'm pregnant again. My first destroyed all the gates we had so it'd be great to win another one.

GRACE2YOU said...We lived in a small mobile home, so my daughter never crawled! Once she could pull herself up, it was just easier to hang on to the furniture and walk! Since then, I have been a daycare provider for 28 years, and I still get excited over each child's "firsts." First words, first time standing, first steps...!

Now 2 months later she is strolling around the house and leans in to sneek a peek at her sister quite often. Maybe perhaps she is checking out her competition????LOL

As his caretaker during the week, I am now chasing the little bugger EVERYWHERE!!! This gate would be a godsend as we have stairs and step downs.
