You were overcome with happiness and tears when your baby started to crawl on his own. A few weeks later, you found yourself out of breath and exhausted from chasing your little cruiser all over the house.
You realized it was time to baby proof the house. Safety gates are essential to ensure your child's safety, but chunky plastic gates? Not so chic.
Munchkin gates combine safety and style, and we're giving away three designer wood and steel models.
Enter to win by leaving us a comment below telling us about your baby's first crawl or step.

Pennie said...How exciting the first steps are for new parents no doubt the mile stones are so memorable! Our children are grown but...We are going to be Grandparents for the first time and can't wait for the first step experience as Grandparents! But, we need to "re" baby proof the house and all the products have changed so much! Looking forward to trying some of the new products we didn't have!

Andrea G. said...My son started crawling doing the one legged scoot. He'd pull himself along with his arms and just push with one leg. The weirdest looking movement, and of course I heard the "you better fix that or he'll take forever to walk" from the peanut gallery! He took his time, but was running within a few months from that! Funny how people that have never had any kids always have the most to say! (usually negative at that too!)

Vickie said...As a Grandmother of 2 precious girls I have had the privilege of watching the oldest, Victoria 2 1/2, take her first steps and seeing the joy in her little eyes. Now our youngest, Sophia 1, has decided it is time to walk instead of crawl, with great excitement I might add. Needless to say both girls are on the "go" at all times.LOL But we would not have it any other way.
