When I was a kid Abercrombie & Fitch sold high end sporting gear with an emphasis on fly fishing. Years later Eddie Baurer sold high tech camping and hiking items. Both were ambushed by big business who turned them into mall outliets for poor quaility "sporting clothes" known mostly for their highly sexually charged ads and cheap stuff sporting their company names. Skinny boys with styled hair, tattoos, skinnier girls with too much make up and bodies resembling anorexic pre-pubescent kids with breast implants featured on their ads. Good products gone bad and good companies gone worse

It is ALL about personal choice..personal responsibility.
Censor one and you censor all.
It should be YOUR choice to buy a padded suit for your child.... or a gun.... or medical insurance... or a gas guzzler....
as long as you take resposibility for YOUR OWN choices and actions.
Keep the government..controls, regulations and legislation LIMITED to keeping us safe from foreign interests.
And keep us safe from having OTHERS like many here for their beliefs on others.
Raised my four kids.... 2 girls, 2 boys.... 2 engineers, a designer and lawyer.... with NO ONE's input.... and all four are happily married, successful, degreed and very much a family.
It CAN be done...
Just live your own life... do no harm....leave others to live theirs... as THEY chose... and teach your kids the value of living their own lives.... wh.at has value in life.

Abercrombie & Fitch USED to be an exclusive and expensive store. They became prostitutes and trashed the name years ago, so I'm not surprised by anything they do. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't come out with bathing suits for pre-teen boys that padded the genital area to apper to be some kind of manly "bulge" on theory it its intended protect against testicular "mishaps". They could call it the "Bulge Boy". I wonder what the reaction to that would be!

Have you seen the stuff at Gilly Hicks - the bathing suit tops are the same as at A and F. Also what bothers me the same are the porno magazines they have all over the store but especially in the dressing room area. I asked them who they were appealing to and was told the teen and pre teen group. I told them I would never bring my grands in. Check it out
