Krystian said...I agree with you!!!! I don't care if the children aren't responsible or not, they shouldn't be here. Why should my child have to learn a differente lanuage, because we as a society, can't keep illegals out? I'm sure in the next year or two, we will have lots of Pedros, and weird ass names. Because no one wants to boot them out!!! It's pathetic that we as AMERICANS, living here for all of our lives, are having diffculty finding jobs, because these people are taking them.

charlottecaster said...@ Krystain yeah. why should your child have to learn another "lanuage"? Hell, if they learned spelling from you, they'll have enough trouble with english!

Common language unites us.I named my Daughter, Valentina after the first woman cosmanat in space. She was Russian. I admire the trend favorite names are going for boys and girls. We have a toddler in our family named Kingston. The name one chooses for their babies will affect them all their lives.

Spitfire said...@Kristain, you really need to have gone to school for longer to learn spelling. "differente" "lanuage" aren't even English words, let alone Spanish. Hmmmm....

ggeorgie101 said...Twilight might have a little to do with making the name Isabella popular, but not everything. The name has been popular for a very long time. My mother's name was Isabelle -- she had a sister, Isabella Rose. If either were alive today, they would be 107 and 105 years old. I also have a granddaughter who named a daughter Isabella eight years ago.

Thomp826 said...Seriously..must everything go back to politics? Even a small little article about baby names is not safe! If they posted an article about how the weather is beauutifl out, inevitably someone would come along with "Well, the way things are going in this country, who knows how much more nice weather we'll have!". Can't everyone just not inject their political opinions on EVERYTHING for once!!
In staying with the topic of this article, I actually like the name Maci (to a point) but yes, I agree with how it's kinda stupid how many people are using names from teenagers to name their babies.
