I personally don't have a problem with people coming into this country. I like and appreciate the diversity. With that said, there is a right way and a wrong way to cross our borders. I do believe that everyone should enter this country the legal way, no excuses. There are an increasing number of people already here and coming into this country expecting handouts and who feel entitled to everything our country has to offer (not to say that there aren't some Americans like that, shame on you...) but being in America, or any country for that matter, is a privilege, not a right. Are we asking you to be productive and contribute to the success of our nation? Yes. Are we asking you to learn the language? Yes. Are we asking you to become citizens? Yes. If you're not coming into this country to stand with us then why are you here? I can only assume its because we take care of them. When do they start to give back to the nation? In some cases, never. I wouldn't go to Italy or Spain and demand that everyone speak English and take care of me. Its not fair that hard-working Americans from all different backgrounds have to take care of the people who are lazy and just here to reap the benefits of our hard work and "kind" government. For me, this isn't a race thing, we let too many people take advantage of our system who give us nothing in return but grief. Its time to start taking care of the real, hard-working, dedicated Americans: black, white, asian, whatever they may be.

I for one am Hispanic/White....i go to work, i raise my daughter, i am an AMERICAN, i was born N raised here, i dont even speak spanish....I agree that everyone in the US needs to know ENGLISH....as for more illegal aliens killing US people that the mid east people....you are so ignorant.....9-11, gulf war, desert storm, iraq, afghanistan....How many lives lost there?
And as for taking peoples job's....There are Tons of people hiring here in texas, and most people are just too damn lazy to take the job, Dont blame other people for getting the jobs.....If you are in a skilled labor job....and not some fast food place...you might get hired if you bothered to learn something.

I'm only fifteen, but seriously? It's an opinion, just like you all have your own. So let him speak, and you can speak, too. But don't get so overheated about an OPINION.I am on both sides of this. i mean sure, people's names ARE going to more..out-of-country names. But it's versitle! Does it matter? If you don't like the name, DON"T NAME YOUR KID THAT!! And I agree with some that say he was being a little racist about it, but you are being just as immature by saying "how did the tornado miss you, and i'm surprised you have internet access in your trailer park" I live in GOOD OL' WEST BY GOD VIRGINIA! Alot of hicks here, and some racist people (as am i to a point) but why waste your breath saying IGNORANT stuff like that? I don't think the US should be making everything in foreign languages, if they come here to leave their country, they need to adapt, as we should have to do if we left. But everyone bagging on him is ridiculous and a waste of time.

I think the ilegals that steal our id and do other bad stuff should go but the people who came over and are good should stay as long as they speak our language too for emergencies.

As bad as Krystian's spelling is, her grammar is even worse. She uses double negatives, puts commas where they don't belong, doesn't put commas where they do belong, has sentence fragments, and goes on to complain that her child has to learn a "differente" language. Krystian, please tell me which college doesn't require at least 2 semesters of a foreign language? Secondly, why wouldn't you want to learn a second language? You might have a better understanding of that language than your terrible understanding of English. Next, the US does NOT have an official language, so anybody has just as much right to speak whatever language they want to speak as you have the right to butcher English. Do you seriously think Pedro (Peter) is a "weird ass name", but you do not mention names like Bentley, Knox, Tiana, and Quinn? Those are names a ten year-old girl gives to her dolls or a dog. Krystian, you are uncultured and a disgrace to real Americans. By the way, how did your relatives arrive in this country? Unless you are a Native American (I'm 1/8 Sioux, and the rest of my genetic makeup is a big mixture of European immigrants), you are being an ignorant hypocrite. The US is full of descendants of illegal immigrants. I can't believe you are upset that people from other countries want to move here to try and better their lives. That is the exact reason that every single one of us is here!

OMG! People, really need to get a LIFE! What is the deal about worrying about other nationalities in the world? Why even bother yourselves with what other people are doing? Mind your own busy-ness. AND, Why do you even say things like: "Those People, Those Illegal Aliens, Those Immigrants, Those People that are not like you??? Get over it and move on! Can you just look at a person as a person? Who cares if That Person is red, white, or blue, or green, or black, or white? We are all Human Beings that just so happen to be individual looking, and have individual languages in order to communicate with other Individual People. If a disagreement were to occur, hopefully, these individuals will be able to work it out among themselves. (Loving everyone, here in Hawaii !!)
