What you need: A group of children. It can be played indoors or outdoors.

How to play: In this variation of Tag, when a person designated as "it" tags other players, they are "frozen" and must stand in place without moving until they are "unfrozen." An "unfrozen" player may "unfreeze" others by touching them.

The rules: Who will be "it" can be determined by a counting-out game, such as One Potato. Once the game begins, whoever is tagged can either be out of the game or become "it."

How to win: Play the game without being tagged.

What else you need to know: There are many variations on this game, including Ball Tag and Flashlight Tag.
