How to play: Each team has its own flag and must hide it somewhere in its home base. The objective is to capture the opposing team's flag and bring it safely to its own home base without being tagged.
The rules: When players are in enemy territory, they can be tagged by the opposing team. Depending on the variation of the game, tagged players can be out of the game, be forced to join the opposing team or be placed in "jail" for a specified amount of time.
How to win: Bring the opposing team's flag to home base without being tagged.
What else you need to know: A wide-open space doesn't work as well because you need places to hide while sneaking over to the opposing team's base. A wooded area can be a perfect Capture the Flag field.
