How to play: Hang the tire at a level that all players can pass a football through. Divide the children into two teams, and have them line up on each side of the tire so that the teams will be facing each other. Give each team at least two footballs.
The rules: The first player in each line will throw all the footballs through the tire, trying to block the opposite team's ball. When a player throws the ball through the tire, his team receives one point. After the first player has gathered his footballs, he will give them to the next player to throw. Play continues until all players have thrown the footballs.
How to win: The team with the highest points at the end of the game is the winning team.
What else you need to know: You can use Nerf footballs to prevent injury if someone gets hit. If you use regular footballs, you may want players to wear bike helmets.
