Folks have been singing the praises of the Easy-Bake Oven since it launched way back in 1963, and now, a brand new style is hitting store shelves.
The Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven has a new look girls and tweens will salivate over. The oven plugs in -- no light bulb necessary -- is easy to use and a bigger pan means bigger treats. Plus, it's not just for cakes anymore. An extended menu means cookies, red velvet cupcakes, checker cakes, brownie sticks, cinnamon twists and even pizza and pretzels can be created by your little chefs-in-training.
The Ultimate Oven, $49.99, comes with a baking pan, cupcake pan, pan pusher/spatula, storage drawer and mixes to whip up 12 mini cookies and 12 mini red velvet cupcakes -- with frosting and sprinkles, naturally. Refill and tool kits, $12.99 each, include tools and mixes to make pizzas shaped like guitars or hearts, custom pretzels with cheese dip and more. You can also get refill pack assortments, $6.99, with the fixings for cookies, cupcakes, pizza and more.
For ages 8 and older, at most national toy retailers and HasbroToyShop.com, beginning in mid-August.
