Actually, for all of you geniuses out there, there IS science behind the Female to Male, or Male to Female transgenders. Maybe you all should do a little research before you condemn someone for being who they should have been born to be. HE is a man, legally and mentally. And as for the people who give the "he's not a real male," i didn't know that "Stupid and close-minded" were requirements for being a man. If I met Thomas and his wife today, I'd tell them they have my full support, and to keep their heads up.

Not enough people stand up for, or understand FTM's or MTF's, and I, for one, am tired of people's ignorant remarks.

Children do not care who or what their parents are. Children want to be nurtured and cared for by their family. Being gay, transgendered, or what ever else is out there does not change who the person is on the inside. Anyway being gay does not destroy anyoones life but those who let it. It has nothing to do with being selfish. Straight people have children, treat them like garbage, beat them, and sometimes even kill them. If you are so worried about the children in the world why dont you start by helping those that are in danger rather than wasting your time gay bashing. I do however think that all of the publicity this "man" is brining to the family could be harmful to their children but only because close minded people like you. People filled with hate are selfish. Everyone is different and chose to live different lives. I do not agree with everything everyone does in this world but you know what that is how it is. See, I hate this ignorant crap. If you believe in that particular God, then go ahead. No one is stopping you. But guess what. There are hundreds of relgions, and thousands upon thousands of different concepts of God. And, frankly, the Christian religion (which I hope you'll excuse me for assuming you are) is a minority in the world. So, please, don't impose your beliefs on others, and don't use relgion as a weak excuse for your own intolerances and insecurities. That's not a very Godly thing to do.

So this woman wants to be a man and a mother. It's just an example of the unworkable and confused ideals aimed at the girls of this country telling them they can be women yet "strong" which translated means "men".The establishment doesn't tell the boys to be "strong and unafraid to take command." Only the girls get that message.
