After a brutal year that tested their marriage, Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett have reunited as they hunt for a permanent home together in LA.

"Our new year didn't start on Jan. 1. It started on Jan. 4 because that was Hank's first day back in LA," an emotional Kendra told Life & Style exclusively at CoverGirl's 50th-anniversary party on Jan. 5. "We're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We're taking time to slow down and enjoy our lives, to really settle into a house and a routine."

While Hank has yet to hear if he's been re-signed by the Vikings, Kendra is adamant that she won't join him in the snowy city. Instead, the Cali girl will hold down the couple's new LA home base no matter where the football player ends up -- while Hank travels back and forth between games to see his wife and beautiful son.

"Baby Hank is a daddy's boy," gushes Kendra. "He loves me singing to him, though. I don't understand why, because my voice is so bad!" But she may soon have an expanding audience. Kendra and Hank dream about adding a second baby boy to their brood in 2011. "We'd love to have another child," Kendra tells Life & Style. "We talk about it every day."

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Bethenny Frankel: Motherhood Has Changed My Life

Filed under: Celeb Kids, Celeb Parents, In The News, Celeb News & Interviews

Between growing her Skinnygirl brand and starring on The Real Housewives of NYC, Bethenny Frankel was always on the go. That is, until she met current husband Jason Hoppy, and became mom to her beautiful daughter Bryn, who was born on May 8. "It's unbelievable. It's every cliché, everything everyone tells you," she gushes about motherhood to Life & Style.

For this former workaholic and social butterfly, late-night partying has been substituted for baby-feeding sessions and designer duds for pajamas. "I breast-feed and pump, and I'd say Bryn eats every three to four hours," Bethenny tells Life & Style about her and Jason's tag-team schedule. "He'll do a feeding at 1 a.m., then I'll do one at 5 a.m. It's whoever hears it first, and we don't try to pretend like we don't hear it," she says about Jason, whom she calls an amazing and unbelievable father. "He is just so involved. He's one of those people who's never lazy and comes from a place of yes."
Continue reading Bethenny Frankel: Motherhood Has Changed My Life

Permalink | Email this | Comments

New Kate Gosselin Drama: Jon to Seek Custody of Their Kids

Filed under: Celeb Parents, In The News, New In Pop Culture, Celeb News & Interviews

Is Kate neglecting her kids? Credit: Life & Style

While Kate Gosselin's spending all her time on Dancing with the Stars and painting herself as TV's hardest-working, devoted mom to the public, Jon's spending all of his time with the kids -- and he's fed up! Jon plans to file a petition for custody of their eight children and an insider close to the family says the kids are indeed happier when they're with Jon. "The kids have always preferred Jon over Kate," the insider tells Life & Style. "The kids always come in second or third in Kate's life. The nannies have more of a bond with them than her."

The insider continues to say that Jon is sick of Kate neglecting the kids and making all the money, while he can't afford the thousands in child support because TLC won't let him work. "When it's technically her time to be at home and she's away, Kate doesn't allow Jon over and has nannies stay with the kids," the insider says. "Jon is just trying to do what is in the best interest for the kids and him."

Even more damaging to the kids than her time spent on DWTS are the family secrets Kate spills in her new book, exclusively obtained by Life & Style. In her new book, I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Children on Love, Faith and Family, Kate pens a deeply personal letter to each of her eight children.
Continue reading New Kate Gosselin Drama: Jon to Seek Custody of Their Kids

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Cindy Crawford: My Clock Stopped Ticking

Filed under: Celeb Parents, In The News, New In Pop Culture, Celeb News & Interviews

Cindy Crawford had a rough year in 2009. The supermodel was allegedly targeted for extortion over a photo of her 8-year-old daughter, Kaia, bound to a chair and gagged. But now Cindy, who spoke exclusively to Life & Style at the JC Penney Cindy Crawford Style Home Collection event in NYC on March 2nd, is happy to report that she's put that ordeal behind her.

"It's over," she said. "In my head, it's over." Of course, throughout it all, Cindy, 44, has been able to lean on her handsome husband of 11 years, Rande Gerber.

On how she and Rande keep the passion alive:

Rande and I were friends first; I think that's the constant. The other stuff goes in and out. We're really busy and always running around, but we respect each other, and we're friends first, so that goes a long way.

On whether they plan to have more kids:

The ticking of the clock has stopped, I think!

On if she'd consider adopting:

At this point, our life is very full. But I wouldn't rule it out.

On encouraging her kids to act or model:

I wouldn't want them to, but I wouldn't discourage them. They'll have to find what excites them. My daughter loves drama, so possibly. She's a drama queen!

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Is Angelina Jolie Turning Shiloh Into a Boy?
When Brad Pitt was spotted in Paris on Feb. 23, it looked like he and Angelina Jolie had adopted a new child -- an adorable blond boy. Instead, it was the couple's 3-year-old daughter, Shiloh, sporting boys' clothes and a new haircut so shockingly short it immediately ignited a firestorm of controversy.

"It's a drastic change," says an eyewitness. "The last time we'd seen her, her hair was longer and blonder, and she was more girlie. We were surprised Angelina dressed her so much like a little boy."

Reaction on the Internet was far harsher and even some seen-it-all celebrity stylists were stunned by the transformation. "Shiloh is pushing the boundaries of a tomboy look and crossing over to cross-dresser territory," Alana Kelen, senior fashion stylist at VH1, tells Life & Style. "Shiloh is looking more and more like her daddy these days," agrees celebrity stylist Gili Rashal-Niv.
Continue reading Is Angelina Jolie Turning Shiloh Into a Boy?
Most Hollywood moms start stressing about losing their baby weight even before leaving the delivery room. But Kourtney Kardashian isn't like most women. Instead of clocking hours at the gym to shed the 40 pounds she put on during her pregnancy, Kourt has been singularly focusing on her 7-week-old bundle of joy, son Mason Dash. "It's been hard to find time to work out," she told Life & Style during an exclusive interview on Jan. 29. "All I want to do is spend time with Mason."

Kourtney decided to open up to Life & Style about her struggle to slim down after a tabloid magazine used heavyhanded photoshopping to make it appear as if she'd regained her svelte pre-pregnancy figure just one month after giving birth. "Losing the weight has been a lot harder than I thought," she says. "I've lost 25 pounds so far. I still have 15 more to go."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's six children are living a posh life.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are two of the most charitable stars in Hollywood. But for all their generosity toward humanitarian causes, they, like most parents, can't resist the urge to spoil their own kids. From crisscrossing the globe to diving into designer cupcakes, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 3, and 18-month old twins Knox and Viv are living the good life. Being a Jolie-Pitt sure has its perks.

PINT-SIZE PAMPERING AT THE SPA

Playgrounds? So childish. Little women Shiloh and Zahara spent the day relaxing at the luxurious Guerlain Spa at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC on Jan. 2. While at the swanky spot, the sisters indulged in manicures - which can cost between $175 and $255. "Both girls got their nails painted like Spider-Man, with alternating red, blue and black polish," says an insider. "They stayed at the spa for over an hour."

Their babies were reality show stars before they were even born, and now new moms Kourtney Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson are sharing their baby diaries in the new issue of Life & Style.

Kourtney: My Baby Diary

The new mom opens up about how her son, Mason Dash Disick, has changed her life forever

Last January, Kourtney was a staple on the social scene, hobnobbing with fellow celebs everywhere from the Sundance Film Festival to Super Bowl parties. This year, there's only one guy she's spending face time with: Mason Dash, the son she and her boyfriend, Scott Disick, welcomed on Dec. 14.

"I'm just loving all the time with him," Kourtney, 30, tells Life & Style in a new exclusive interview. "I really don't miss my old life. I can't imagine life without Mason now."

Kourtney wasn't always sure she'd be this content with motherhood. "She was definitely scared before she had Mason, asking, 'Am I going to be a great mother? Am I going to love this baby as much as I should?'" Scott, 26, tells Life & Style. "And that all went out the door."
Continue reading Kourtney Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson Share Their Baby Diaries

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Exclusive: Tori Spelling's Feud With Mom Finally Over

Filed under: Holidays, Life & Style, Celeb Parents, Celeb News & Interviews
Reality star Tori Spelling got an early Christmas present this year: Her bitter feud with mom Candy finally ended.

"Everyone asked, 'What do you want for Christmas?' and I said, 'Nothing, I got it. My family is together,'" Tori, 36, tells Life & Style. "Just watching my mother and my brother, Randy, and my whole family together, it's like, 'Wow!'"

Life & Style Weekly: What's it like to see your mother interacting with your kids?
Tori Spelling: It's great, especially around the holidays. Nothing beats family. It's irreplaceable.

L&S: Speaking of family, are you and hubby Dean McDermott planning to give 2-year-old Liam and 19-month-old Stella a little brother or sister?
TS: We definitely want a big family, but there's still a lot of poop going around our house right now. We'll wait until there's a little less maintenance!

L&S: After having two kids, how do you stay in such great shape?
TS: In all honesty, I don't follow a diet. And I don't exercise. I'm a super-busy mom. I'm constantly on the go. I'm lifting a 28-pound child, a 21-pound child. We're always running and doing stuff. I try to set a healthy standard for the kids too -- I make sure to incorporate protein and vegetables into their meals.

L&S: Would you say 2009 was a good year?
TS: It's been amazing. It's been emotional, and it's been trying, and 2010 is going to be even better. A lot of our prayers have been answered. So 2010 is going to be a true blessing for our family.

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Kourtney Kardashian: My Baby's Just Too Beautiful

Filed under: Celeb Parents, In The News

Looks like Kourtney Kardashian already has some mother's intuition! Just two days before giving birth to son Mason Dash Disick on Dec. 14, Kourtney attended her pal Jillian Barberie Reynolds' baby shower. There, she told Life & Style, "I'm really excited but just really ready. I feel ready."

And ready she was. With her longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, by her side, Kourtney, 30, gave birth to their 7-pound, 6-ounce son after going into labor the night before. "Baby Mason is just so beautiful," new mom Kourtney gushed to Life & Style later that day. "Scott and I are so happy!"

Though Mason patiently waited until after the season four premiere of the family's E! show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians -- which pulled the network's highest ratings ever -- he still arrived ahead of Kourtney's Dec. 23 due date. But it wasn't exactly a shock. "The doctor even said she'll probably be like two weeks early because she's so petite and she's so big already," Kourt's sister Khloé had told Life & Style.
Continue reading Kourtney Kardashian: My Baby's Just Too Beautiful

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Bethenny Frankel: My Miracle Pregnancy

Being four months pregnant hasn't slowed down Bethenny Frankel one bit. She's shooting The Real Housewives of New York City, will set out on tour to promote her new book, The Skinnygirl Dish, and just finished filming her first exercise DVD. But last week, Frankel took time out on the NYC set of her Skinnygirl workout video to exclusively show off her baby bump to Life & Style and chat about the pregnancy!

L&S: Congratulations! Are you super excited?
Bethenny: I'm really excited. I'm starting to show a little bit. I don't fit in my pants - it's very liberating. Now I believe that I'm pregnant.

L&S: Have you gained a lot of weight?
Bethenny: Five or 6 pounds, but they're right in my stomach. A lot of people think being pregnant is one giant binge, but you should check yourself before you wreck yourself. I'm not changing the way I eat. If I eat chocolate cake at lunch, I try not to have it after dinner. By no means is it dieting, but I'm trying to maintain some sort of balance because I'll have to deal with it later. I'm actually thinking of writing a pregnancy book. There's no reason to gain 75 pounds.
"Just two weeks ago, I started getting into the physically uncomfortable and emotional oh my- gosh-she's-coming place," Reyes told Life & Style Weekly during her baby shower at Santa Monica's Casa Del Mar hotel on Nov. 1. Indeed, it's a girl for the actress and boyfriend George Valencia, and they couldn't be happier. "I wouldn't know what to do with a boy," Reyes said. "Designers, fashion photographers and casting agents have always wanted a thin body to show the silhouette of clothes," said Mindel.

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Actress Holly Robinson Peete: I Wish John Travolta Had Spoken Out Sooner

Filed under: Celeb Parents, In The News

Ten months after son Jett's death, John Travolta finally admitted during an extortion trial that the 16-year-old had suffered from autism. Actress Holly Robinson Peete, whose 12-year-old son, Rodney Jr., also has the disorder, says she wishes John had spoken sooner.

"Were there times I said to myself, Ooh, if somebody that A-list comes out, what could he do for the movement? Yeah, I wished that," the former 21 Jump Street star tells Life & Style.

Still, she says, "I don't blame the Travoltas for not talking about it. I would never tell someone what to say about their kid."

Along with her husband, former NFL star Rodney Peete, Holly founded the HollyRod Foundation, which raises money for families dealing with autism and similar conditions. She says it was a family decision for the Peetes to go public with Rod Jr.'s condition, and she hopes John can find solace in doing the same.

"The fact that posthumously he had to say that on the stand, I wasn't glad about it," she says. "But I was relieved he was able to have closure."
