When one of the world's best-known fashion stylists has a baby, you just know a children's line can't be far behind.

And, so is the case with Rachel Zoe. The reality show star who dresses celebs like Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson on Bravo's "The Rachel Zoe Project," is a new mom to Skyler, 4, months, with hubby Rodger Berman, and she tells ABC's "Nightline" she is working on a kiddie collection.

"Let me tell you, there is going to be a lot of boys' clothes in my line," she tells the news show.

Of course, Skyler, naturally, already has an amazing collection of clothes. His closet, shown on "Nightline," is, as Zoe would say, ba-na-nas. Huge and filled with the usual stuff -- you know, Missoni sweaters here, a Gucci bomber jacket there -- she tells the show he is fully dressed until age 2.

It won't be the first collection for the stylist. Zoe already sells affordable styles on QVC and plans to launch an upscale collection of clothing and bags this fall, according to "Nightline."

"Every day I wake up thinking, what can I do next and what more can I do?" she tells the show. "With my husband by my side, and now Skyler, my son, and the team that I have, I feel like anything is possible."

But while motherhood has changed her lifestyle -- and some of her clothing choices -- she tells the show you won't catch her in sweats. "But you will catch me in less jewelry," she says, adding that she will hold Skyler when she's wearing her trademark 6-inch heels, but she won't walk with him while she's in them.

Zoe does have some advice for moms when it comes to fashion.

"Wear your clothes," she tells "Nightline." "What are you saving up for? I'm wearing my sequins at 12 noon to lunch, and I'm wearing, you know, five cocktail rings to the supermarket."

And new moms should think functional.

"Chunky jewelry and sky-high heels are reserved for night," Zoe tells the show. "During the day you have to keep it minimal. You need to be realistic. I can't honestly hold my son, feed him and push a stroller in a sequin ball gown and 6-inch Atwoods, as much as I would love to."

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Celeb Clan Close-Up: Brooke Shields and Her Pretty Babies

Filed under: Celeb Parents, Celeb News & Interviews

Brooke Shields just seems to get better looking with age. The 46-year-old stunner hit the appropriately colored blue carpet recently for the New York premiere of "The Smurfs," which opens nationwide Friday.

With her were her funnyman hubby, Chris Henchy, and their daughters Rowan, 7, and Grier, 5.

We love the matching mother and daughter clutches. She's been making moms envious for months, with her pretty amazing pregnancy style, but actress Selma Blair will soon be back to regular clothes following the birth of her son, Arthur Saint Bleick.

People magazine reports the boy was born July 25 to Blair, 39, and her boyfriend, Jason Bleick, a fashion designer, weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

In other celebrity baby news:

Neil Patrick Harris tells Parade magazine he and partner David kept the pregnancy of their 9-month-old twins Gideon and Harper under wraps during the filming of his upcoming "Smurfs" movie.

"When we were filming the movie, [David and I] were about five or six months pregnant and we weren't telling anybody. When the script came my way, we had just started that process, so it felt like good timing. It was certainly easy to film things like looking at an ultrasound photo and feeling what emotion that brings. It was a nice little secret moment."

Jessica Alba tells Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" that her baby is due "soon, very soon." And that her 3-year-old daughter, Honor, is "excited."

"She says she's gonna actually be the mommy, I'm gonna be the grandma. That's the way that she phrases it," Alba says on the show. "My girlfriend asked her, 'are you excited about being a big sister?' And she's like, 'yeah, because I'm gonna be a grown up, I'm gonna drink vino and drive."

And Pippa Middleton is sparking a baby naming trend. Read about it here.

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Pippa Gaining Ground on Top Baby Name List in 2011

Filed under: In The News, Baby Names, New In Pop Culture, Celeb News & Interviews

She's been capturing headlines all over the globe since her famous sister Kate became British royalty, and now Pippa Middleton is sparking a baby naming trend, too.

Reuters reports the baby name website Nameberry analyzed 23 million page views of baby name pages on various naming sites and found celebrities are having a serious impact on the monikers folks are bestowing on their little ones.

"Five years ago, I might have said that the biggest overarching factor was personal meaning, now the biggest factor is celebrities," Nameberry's Pamela Redmond Satran tells the news service.

True, Isabella, Sophia and Emma were the top names for girls last year, with Jacob, Ethan and Michael winning out among boy names, but names such as Pippa, Elula (the name actress Isla Fisher and actor Sacha Baron Cohen chose for their daughter), Mila (as in "Black Swan" actress Kunis) and Flynn (the name of Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr's son) are gaining steam.

"There is a culture of the celebrity baby," Satran tells Reuters. "The whole world goes on name watch. By not telling the name, it becomes a big news event."

Satran tells the news service the number of searches for a baby name can help predict how popular that name will become.

Nameberry compiled a list of hot names so far for 2001, posted on Today.com. Here's what people are searching.

Pippa: "Both the familiar Pippa and the more formal Philippa is the Number 1 hottest baby name of the year on Nameberry. Pippa ranks 35 on our most-searched list so far this year, after not appearing at all among our 200 most popular girls' names of 2010. While Kate is up too, it's not nearly as hot as Pippa.

Asher: "The soft, Biblical Asher takes the Hottest Boys' Name spot by virtue of having unseated Henry as the all-time Number 1 name for boys on Nameberry."

Elula: "Elula, the unusual Hebrew calendar name chosen by Isla Fisher and Sasha Baron Cohen for their second daughter, was not even in our database last year and now is the Number 38 most-searched name on Nameberry."

Everett: "The popularity of Everett, up 50 places on our most-searched list, was inspired by such stylish girls' choices as Eva and Evelyn."

Hadley: "The success of the bestselling novel 'The Paris Wife' has catapulted the intriguing name of Hemingway's first wife, Hadley Richardson, 50 spots up our list this year over last."

Arlo: "... Arlo, as in folksinger Guthrie, (is) enjoying a popularity surge. Other o-ending names for boys heating up in 2011: Nico, Hugo, Otto."

Mila: "It's the name of a gorgeous young star, Mila Kunis, PLUS it resembles a handful of trendy names -- Mia, Maya, Lila -- that are due for a hiatus."

Flynn: "Finn is already hot, but cousin Flynn, baby name choice of Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, is taking off."

Ada, Adele, Adeline, Adelaide: "If it's a vintage girls' name that starts with Ad-, it can't miss this year, it seems."

Archer: "Archer, as in Henry James' 'Portrait of a Lady' and Edith Wharton's 'Age of Innocence,' is perfect: It's unusual, classic yet contemporary-feeling, and there's no danger of anyone actually having read the books."

Luna: "The real hottie launched by the Beckham name quest was otherworldly Luna, the name rumored to be their girls' pick for most of Posh's pregnancy."

So, don't be surprised if the kindergarten class of 2016 is full of Pippas, Milas, Elulas and Flynns. Kinda sounds like a new sort of British invasion, now, doesn't it?

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Football Star Eli Manning Scores $2.9 Million for Children's Hospital

Filed under: In The News, Celeb News & Interviews

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning does a lot of impressive things on the football field, winning a lot of young fans. But what he does for another group of youngsters is even more impressive.

Manning and his wife, Abby, have helped raise $2.9 million for the outpatient clinic at Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital -- the only children's cancer care center in Mississippi.

The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Miss., reports Manning does more than raise money. The 30-year-old athlete visits children in the hospital every summer. However, there are certain strings attached. He insists on no media and no doctors.

"The only thing he asked was that someone go with him to help carry the boxes of gifts he had brought for the children," James Keeton, vice chancellor for health affairs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, tells the newspaper. "He wanted one-on-one time with them all. He said he would sign whatever they wanted. He wanted to play video games with the ones who felt like it ... anything to make them smile and feel better for a little while.

"That's about as classy as it gets. This guy is a superstar in the NFL, a Super Bowl most valuable player. You don't see many of them wandering the halls of children's hospitals. I just don't know how much more fortunate we could be."

Keeton tells the Clarion-Ledger Manning started with a goal in 2007 of donating $2.5 million in five years. He's surpassed that goal by $400,000.

"That just doesn't happen in this day and time, whether you're trying to raise $50 million or $100,000," Keeton says. "You always set what you hope to do, but rarely do you get there."

Manning tells the newspaper it was a point of honor.

"Any time you put your name on something, you should want it to be done right," he says. "I said we could do this, and I wanted to be a man of my word."

That included keeping a promise he made when he entered professional sports after five years at the University of Mississippi. He promised to give back to the state.

Manning was 26 when started raising money for the hospital and visiting children. At first, he admits, he was nervous about visiting young cancer patients.

"I didn't really know what to say or what to do to make them feel better," he tells the Clarion-Ledger. "It left me feeling sort of helpless, to be honest."

Now he loves visiting the kids.

"It's never what I would call easy," he tells the newspaper. "You walk into a room and a child is sick ... he or she may not be feeling too good that day. They may be down. But what I've learned is, just do the best you can to get a smile out of them. And even though they may not say anything then -- I mean, kids can be shy -- afterward you hear from their parents that the visit meant so much and that their child hasn't stopped talking about it.

"And I try to do the same thing for the parents. It's a tough time for them. So anything I can do to lift the morale of the whole group is a good thing."

Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

Getting Over 'Can't', From Marlo Thomas

Filed under: Just for You, Celeb News & Interviews
We all face those moments when we feel like we just can't do something. Haven't been keeping up on the latest celebrity baby news? Here are a few items to impress your friends with this weekend!

Carla Bruni really is pregnant! After months of speculation, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, 43, the first lady of France, has officially confirmed she's having a baby, CBS News reports. According to the network, the former model told the French newspaper Nice-Matin the news, calling it an "unexpected and unhoped for happiness." It'll be her first child with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, 56. She has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship and he has three sons from two earlier marriages, according to CBS.

Kate Hudson named her son Bing! Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy is the moniker chosen by Hudson and her fiance Matt Bellamy, singer for the band Muse. "For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt [Russell's] dad. Family connections all round!" Bellamy tweeted.

Jenna Fischer's pregnant in real life and on "The Office"! The actress announced she is expecting in May, but she won't have to hide her growing baby bump when filming scenes for "The Office." Fischer tells New York magazine's Vulture blog Pam will be pregnant with her and Jim's second baby when the new season starts.

"Pam and Jim snuck away last season on Valentine's Day, and they had sex," she tells Vulture. "The story is that they conceived this baby at that time and were keeping it a secret until we come back from the summer. ... When we started shooting that [Valentine's Day] episode, I thought to myself, If everything goes well, this is going to be a very, very convenient coincidence. And I think I found out I was pregnant when we were shooting that episode."

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Should You Try a 'Mommy Cleanse'?

Filed under: In The News, Celeb News & Interviews

Sure, celeb moms like Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Kidman, and Sarah Jessica Parker do "cleanses" -- restrictive, mostly liquid diets that claim to detoxify your system, improve your health, and, let's face it, offer a speedy slim-down. But lately we've been hearing the moms at drop-off complaining that they're cranky because they've traded in their usual fare of leftover kid waffles and birthday party pizza for a cleanse of their very own.

Yes, pricey celeb cleanses are becoming popular among moms, who may not have time to get to a gym and are looking for a quick way to shed a few pounds before hitting the beach or to kick-start a plan that will hopefully get rid of the baby weight once and for all. And these plans claim to deliver a whole lot more than good health for frazzled, sleep-deprived mamas.

The BluePrintCleanse (shown above) -- which includes numbered bottles of juices like Pineapple Mint or Spicy Lemonade that come in three levels of cleansing intensity (one level allows you to still eat a vegetarian/raw dinner) -- supposedly will "rid your body of impurities, regain an alkaline balance, and normalize digestion and metabolism." It costs $325 for a three-day regimen, though you can make your own if you buy the BluePrint book.) Another popular choice, Organic Avenue, costs $250 for a three-day cleanse of options like cucumber soup and pomegranate juice and promises a whole range of benefits from "bright eyes," a "clear complexion," and "perfect weight," to "feeling grounded and balanced," and having "positive thoughts."

Even if those claims are true, is an all-liquid diet really a good idea? As an RN, I worry about moms using cleanses as a short-cut to weight loss because they don't exactly lay the groundwork for a lifetime of healthy eating and exercise. Sure, you'll survive for a few days on juice alone, but the kidney, liver and colon already handle detox-ing your body. (Restricting calories during breastfeeding, however, is a dangerous idea since it can affect your milk supply. To their credit, both of these companies state that nursing is not the time for a cleanse.) A healthier (and cheaper) option might be to cut out processed foods in favor of fruits, veggies, lean meats and whole grains. Lifelong health and weight management is based on realistic habits that can be maintained over time -- something that, unfortunately, can't be bottled and sold.
You often read interviews with actors and actresses who claim they would hate for their children to enter showbiz. But not Katie Holmes.

The mom to Suri Cruise, 5, and wife of Hollywood royalty Tom Cruise, tells InStyle magazine she envisions her daughter doing lots of different things in life, including catching the acting bug.

"She's an amazing athlete, singer and dancer, and I think she'll probably be an actress," Holmes tells the magazine. Here's more from her interview in the InStyle August issue:

On pregnancy rumors: "I'm not pregnant. I had bad posture. And I was having a fat day!"

On parenting choices: "I have to be a good parent in my own heart first. I'm not going to choose making people happy over doing the right thing for my child."

On a sibling for Suri: "I don't feel pressure to do that. We already have a very big family: a full household with cousins who are over a lot, and she has her friends. My biggest thing is making sure she's fully taken care of and doing well."

On Suri's style: "I do not dress her. She dresses herself! Obviously, I buy her clothes, but she is the one who puts her outfits together. In fact, she helps me. If she likes something of mine, I know it's good."

Permalink | Email this | Comments

It's a Posh, $900 Stroller for Victoria Beckham's Baby Girl

Filed under: Celeb Kids, Celeb Parents, Celeb News & Interviews

When your mom's nickname is Posh, it's probably a given that you'll experience the finer things in life -- even when you're way, way too young to realize, or appreciate, them.

Eonline reports that Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, bought her daughter, Harper, born July 10, a $900 stroller. The brand: iCandy Peach. The color: Lilac. Now, the stroller normally comes in the colors sweet pea, black jack and tomato, according to the entertainment site, but Beckham's stroller was custom colorized in the same purplish hue used in her British baby shower.

After having three boys, we suspect Beckham is ready to spoil her little girl -- Suri Cruise? Consider yourself warned. There's a new fashion baby in town.

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Jewel Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Filed under: Bump Watch, Celeb Parents, Celeb News & Interviews

Jewel has something new to sing about. The Grammy-nominated singer and her husband, pro bull rider and former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Ty Murray, had a baby boy July 11.

Kase Townes Murray was born in Texas and weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, People reports.

"Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world," Jewel, 36, tells the magazine. "We are overcome with happiness -- it really is as great as everyone told us it would be -- better even!"

According to People, Jewel first learned of her pregnancy on her first day as co-host of the reality show "Platinum Hit" on Bravo.

Jewel and Murray live on a farm in Stephenville, Texas, the magazine reports, and the new mom is recording "The Merry Goes 'Round," an album for children, appropriately enough.

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Healthy Snacks for Kids From Jillian Michaels

Filed under: Nutrition: Toddlers & Preschoolers, Nutrition: Big Kids, Nutrition: Tweens, Celeb News & Interviews
Leading health and wellness expert Jillian Michaels joined Marlo Thomas on Mondays with Marlo for a terrific chat about fitness, weight loss, self-improvement, and more! Two new soon-to-be famous tots entered the world over the weekend, as actress Kate Hudson gave birth to a baby boy July 9 and singer/fashion designer Victoria Beckham welcomed a baby girl to her brood on July 10.

Hudson, 32, who is engaged to Matthew Bellamy, 33, of the band Muse, gave birth in Los Angeles, People reports. The boy's name hasn't been released, but he joins big brother Ryder, 7, whose dad is Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes.

Beckham, 37, and her soccer star hubby David Beckham, 36, broke their all-boy streak, with the birth of Harper Seven, also born in Los Angeles, according to People. She has three big brothers -- Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6.

As for the little girl's name, the magazine reports Victoria Beckham has always love the English name Harper, and Seven is a bow to the lucky, spiritual number. People adds Harper weighed seven pounds, 10 ounces, and was born in the seventh hour of the seventh month on the seventh day of the week. And, then, of course, David Beckham's jersey number was seven when he played for Manchester United.

No word on whether the couple was also fans of the "Seinfeld" episode where George wanted to name his future child Seven.

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Octomom Speaks Out: 'I'm the Ultimate Societal Scapegoat'

Filed under: Celeb Parents, New In Pop Culture, Celeb News & Interviews

Nadya Suleman, aka the Octomom, appeared on NBC's Today for her first on-air interview since she gave birth to octuplets two-and-a-half years ago.

The single mom of 14 brought a taste of her daily life to the morning show as her toddlers ran around the set, falling and taking over Matt Lauer's anchor chair. Suleman attributed their high jinks to only getting two hours of sleep on their way to New York City.

The cost of raising her "village," as she calls it? About $15,000 a month, Today reports. Suleman says she finally is able to make ends meet after securing professional management just last month -- and by appearing in celebrity boxing matches.

Despite buzz in the media, Suleman says she has never been on public assistance.

In Touch magazine reported that, in an interview she said, "I hate babies, they disgust me. My older six are animals, getting more and more out of control, because I have no time to properly discipline them. ... Obviously, I love them -- but I absolutely wish I had not had them."

Suleman denies the report completely and tells Today that she is considering suing the magazine for slander. "I love my children. I would do anything for my kids,'' she says.

This isn't the first time the public has been outraged by Suleman's behavior. She received hundreds of death threats when the octuplets were born and says she developed debilitating panic attacks as a result. Exercising and working toward a license as a fitness trainer has helped her cope with the stress.

"That's been my way to self-medicate, through exercise,'' she tells Today.

And, as far as a social life, Suleman says she'd rather not go out in public these days. "I don't have Internet,'' she said. "I don't socialize. I keep to myself as much as humanly possible."

She adds that she could have avoid more public criticism if she were in a relationship. "If I had a mate, that would have defused a lot of the animosity,'' she said. "I'm the ultimate societal scapegoat, I believe.''

Permalink | Email this | Comments

Natalie Portman Reveals Baby Name

Filed under: Celeb Parents, New In Pop Culture, Celeb News & Interviews

Weeks after Natalie Portman gave birth to a boy, she and fiance Benjamin Millepied have finally revealed the name of their son. Drum roll please...

The chosen name: Aleph, People magazine reports.

And what does Aleph mean exactly?

"Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, much like alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet," reports the magazine. "Its esoteric meaning in Judaic Kabbalah, as denoted in the theological treaty Sefer-ha-Bahir, relates to the origin of the universe, the 'primordial one that contains all numbers.' When Casey Anthony was declared not guilty Tuesday of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, the country was in shock -- many were outraged. Anthony was sentenced to four years in jail for lying to police during the murder investigation, but will be released on July 13th because of time already served, AP reports.

Because Anthony has become one of the most hated woman in America, many are wondering what kind of life will she live when she is free.

Letters Anthony wrote to inmate Robyn Adams shed light on how the notorious mother views her future freedom, according to People Magazine. "I've thought about adopting, which even sounds weird to me saying it, but there are so many children that deserve to be loved," Anthony writes. "Let's make a deal? Let's get pregnant together?"

And that's not all -- the magazine reports that Anthony also reveals her desire to write a book. A "partial memoir ... to settle many rumors and to share my insight about love, life and most important - God," she writes to Adams.

Her letters reflect her desire to one day lead a normal life: "I could use a day at Target myself," she wrote to Adams. "Just to walk around the store, to be a part of society. I want to go grocery shopping."

Permalink | Email this | Comments

News From the Future: Justin Bieber's Star Falls in 2011

Filed under: Celeb News & Interviews

Remember Justin Bieber? He was something of a teen idol back in 2011.

Sure, you remember. The bald guy. He played the dad on that sitcom a few years ago, the one with Justin Timberlake as the cantankerous grandfather.

Bieber was riding high back in the days of Facebook and Blu-ray, but you can almost pinpoint the moment when his star started to fade. It was about the time Styleite.com reported his face could no longer sell magazines.

Although Bieber was still performing to sell-out crowds when he appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair in February 2011, according to the website, it was the magazine's worst-selling issue in 12 years.

For those of you who don't watch the History Channel, a "magazine" contained bound sheets of paper (called "pages") with ink impressions on them that formed words and pictures. Mostly pictures.

No, not a book. Books are those things in the background in ads for personal injury lawyers. They went out of fashion about the same time as Bieber and literacy.

Back in the day, Vanity Fair sold about 342,000 copies per month. The editor put Bieber on the cover, and sales went down to 246,000 copies. Granted, the people who read Vanity Fair were not exactly Bieber's target demographic. They were an urbane and erudite group who preferred covers featuring naked portraits of Demi Moore (before President Miley Cyrus nominated her to the Supreme Court).

But Bieber's declining popularity also could be seen on the cover of Teen Vogue. When his face was on the cover in October 2011, Styleite reports sales of the magazine went down 12 percent. There was a similar problem when he appeared on the cover of People magazine in April. Sales were down 23 percent.

This caught the journalism world by surprise. "Who knew 12-year-olds didn't buy magazines?" Styleite quotes a Vanity Fair editor.

Ironically, three years later, no one was buying magazines. Or books. Or newspapers. That editor was last seen holding a cardboard sign reading, "Will correct your grammar and punctuation for food."

At least Bieber has his signature line of orthopedic shoes to fall back on.

Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

Kate Middleton's Baby Comment Suggests Parenthood for Royal Couple

Filed under: Celeb Parents, New In Pop Culture, Celeb News & Interviews

Just four simple words spoken by Kate Middleton were enough to spark an international conversation.

The newly minted Duchess of Cambridge visited Quebec recently with her husband, Prince William, and one man wished Middleton well in starting a family, according to the Daily Telegraph. Her response, "Yes, I hope to," has the press buzzing that a baby -- and heir to the throne -- may soon be in the cards.

Though her comment was brief, it was the first time she had spoken publicly about having children, the Telegraph reports.

Now, tabloids and news outlets alike are splashing headlines like the Daily Express, "KATE: I WANT TO START A FAMILY."

An exaggeration, perhaps, but because "royal couples typically have children early on in marriage," according to the Telegraph, it might be a good idea to start watching out for that royal baby bump.
Chicago Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood and his wife Sarah have created a foundation to benefit children's charities throughout the Chicago area.

"I believe it is important to make a difference in a child's life," Wood says in a Cubs press release. "Sarah and I have committed ourselves to Chicago, and I would like to use my success on and off the field to help grow a foundation that will make a difference in a child's life."

Wood will serve as founder and president of the Wood Family Foundation, with his wife serving as co-founder and executive director.

"We have been fortunate to help so many children over the years," Sarah Wood says in the press release. "The creation of the new Wood Family Foundation will give us a chance to help many more children for years to come. Even though Kerry's full-time job is on the mound, Kerry's mind and heart are dedicated to making this foundation last for generations."

Since 2001, the Cubs report, Wood has centered his charitable work on children. His past efforts include the Kerry Wood Strike Zone Celebrity Bowling Tournament, which has raised more than $2 million for Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

"I am proud of the work I have done in the past, but when I see how dedicated former Chicago athletes are or were to philanthropies, like Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Bob Love, Walter Payton and Gayle Sayers, those people inspire me to do more and help more," Wood says in the release.

The first official Wood Family Foundation event will be the sixth-annual Kerry Wood Strike Zone Celebrity Bowling Tournament Sept. 18. Why should grown-ups have all the Martha Stewart fun?

It's time for kids to get in on the queen of craft action with "Martha & Friends," a new animated multimedia series for children that is sure to get the creativity flowing.

The Stewart collaboration features an animated 10-year-old Martha, described as creative and resourceful, along with her BFFs Kevin, Lily and Hannah and her two dogs, Francesca and Sharkey.

On marthaandfriends.com, kids can watch webisodes, which begin airing today, play games like Supermarket Dash or Kevin's Treehouse and learn how to do activities and projects such as making lemonade, personalizing pet bowls, decorating flip flops or whipping up homemade lip balm.

Wanna catch the gang on TV? On July 3, the Hallmark Channel will air "Martha's Fourth," a July 4th special following Martha and her pals as they take a trip to the beach.

Who couldn't use a mini Martha around the house?

Permalink | Email this | Comments
