May 15th 2009 11:26PM I can only watch cooking shows like Rachel Ray.
I watched this with the sound off and all I could think of were "dirty" things and food...
Rachel Ray on the other hand deosn't appeal to me what-so-ever so I can safely watch her show and only think about the food.

Feb 19th 2009 4:55PM Hmm 300hp, light weight vert... with all the //M goodies... They've sold me! I used to own an S2000 and the //M Z2 would probably make a good companion to my E46 //M3 in the garage.

Feb 14th 2009 8:12AM I think we should leave her alone, that's right leave her alone. Maybe if we do that, she'll just go away. California will still have to deal with her, but I consider that just compensation for having put Pelosi in power. Suleman is a perfect example why I hate social programs regulated by the government.
"Boys and Girls Alone" Leaves Parenting Out of Reality TV {ParentDish}
Feb 6th 2009 8:52AM Speaking of reality TV shows, I'm surprised I haven't seen an article on PD about "toddlers and tiarras"... the beauty pageant for kids... you know because the kids "want" to compete.
I've never watched it, I never will... it sickens me that there are people who would sexualize a child at such a young age. Not only that, but the self esteem issues the child will develope because of if. ACK... I'm just sick... I can't even fathom what drives people and the viewers of these shows sometimes...
BUT about the specific show mentioned here... I totaly support it... I mean the parents probably got paid to put their children through the ringer and what's more important in life your child's development or money?

Dec 18th 2008 8:42AM God, I am so envious of Al Gore. The man is a genious... not so much for the whole green movement impact but for the green movement. This guy creates carbon credits, then builds a market for them, then sells them... sheesh pure genious. And of course following that is book deals, a movie deal and speeking events.
Oh and for the record using the low energy bulbs is bad for everyone. It may only be a slight amound of hazardous material, but it's still hazardous material!!!
If you really want a low energy bulb that will last a long time, shine really bright, and is enviromentally sound... go with L.E.D. bulbs... nothing beats a diode! They are expensive, but if people were to realize their true benefit cost would go down.
But anyways, I may sound like a hippie hater, and while I hate the mass exploitation of idiocy that occures in this country... I do think we could do a better job at taking care of ourselves and our planet... we're just going about it wrong.
Like for instance, imagine if the government we're to spend money on something useful like photo lithic cell development? (here in Idaho we've managed to squeeze out 80% efficiency from a new kind of cell) And if everyone we're to equip their houses with said roofing... talk about clean energy!
But alas... we freak out about the stupid shit... don't worry folks... the planet will kill us all long before we kill it.

Dec 13th 2008 12:01PM Obviously not a pro at conflict resolution, but... ultimately the kids where tresspassing and littering on his yard... Seeing as how he warned them and they decided to diss-respect his request... they deserve it and knowing how teenagers are I'm sure one of them got physical (which is where I imagine the assault charge occured) none the less... I still feel he was in the right because it was his property, the kids are lucky it was just fox pee and not a 12 gauge. Although maybe they would have listened if it had been a 12 gauge.

Nov 29th 2008 3:53PM I gotta agree with LS, without knowing both sides of the story its a tough one to call.
What if she was biting other kids? Not saying this is specific to Magi, but what if a child was yelling profanities or you had children who startled easily. Sometimes exclusion is necessary for the greater good.
It sounds like this could have been handled better though, and they didn't put much thought into finding a proper place for Magi.
