Jovovich explains her baby's unusual name

Celeb Parenting

Multi-talented actress/model/designer/singer Milla Jovovich blogged about how her daughter with fiancee Paul Anderson got her unusual name, Ever Gabo.

"Ever" is a Scottish boy's name and pays homage to the baby's Scottish heritage. And rather than her middle name being a sly tribute to Eva, Greta, or Zsa Zsa that I had guessed, "Gabo" is "a mixture of my parents names!" Jovovich writes. "The first two letters are after my mom's first name, Galina and the last two letters are after my dad's first name Bogie!"

Another day, another unusual celebrity baby name mystery solved!

Milla Jovovich has a baby girl

Pregnancy & Birth, Celeb Kids, Celeb Parenting

Actress Milla Jovovich has given birth to her first child and joined the ranks of those who favor unusual names for their children. Ever Gabo Anderson was born Saturday in Los Angeles and according to mom's rep, everyone is doing great.

Milla met Ever's dad, Paul Anderson, when he directed her in the movie Resident Evil. The two have been engaged since 2003, but have yet to set a wedding date.

Back to the unusual name. I think Ever is pretty but I'm not sure how to pronounce the baby's middle name. Is Gabo with a short or long 'a'? Perhaps it is a Ukranian name?

When pregnancy cravings veer from the usual

Pregnancy & Birth, Places To Go, Bump Watch, Celeb Parenting

When I was pregnant I wanted cupcakes. I ate as healthfully as possible whenever I could but there were times within the last month of my pregnancy when I simply had to have a cupcake. And it had to have a certain color icing and be from a particular bakery.

Given what I've heard and read about pregnancy cravings that sounds relatively normal. Friends and family claim they craved sugar or salt or other basic tastes while pregnant. One very pregnant celebrity admits to cravings a bit more unusual.

Multi-talented woman and soon-to-be-mamma Milla Jovovich recently admitted she'd been craving bone marrow, roving all over Paris desperate to get some in her! That's certainly...specific. And unusual.

Or maybe it's not. I'm vegetarian so bone marrow or heck, anything with bones, didn't appeal to me when I was preggers, but then again the body and the baby wants what it wants, right?

I've heard of women craving things in odd combos (you know, the whole pickles and ice cream thing) and even of women craving things like clay and lead, but never bone marrow. You say tomato, Milla says....

Pregnant Milla eats!

Yay! I am SO excited to see a pregnant celebrity give in and eat for freak's sake. Milla Jovovich, versatile star of many a fine film, including the Resident Evil franchise and one of my all time favorites, The Fifth Element, who also has her own clothing line Jovovich-Hawk (with co-creator Carmen Hawk) AND who once made an album (although we won't talk about that now, she was young...) is pregnant and definitely giving the term "eating for two" a run for its money.

Apparently the multi-talented soon-to-be-mamma has been enjoying a healthy dose of peanutbutter--perhaps a little too much. According to Milla herself the slender starlet has gained a whopping seventy pounds. That's like another person. Still, she was so small to begin with it makes sense she would gain more than the average person.

Although Milla claims she used to weigh 130 pounds (I'm sure she was fluffing and weighed less--after all, who hasn't lied to her OBGYN about her pre-baby weight?) she is quite tall. She claims that eating peanut butter and bread, possibly the best combo since Captain and Tennille, for her massive gain.

Still--check out the picture. She looks adorable! And happy! And glowing! The way a pregnant woman ought to be! Enjoy your peanut butter, Milla! Your baby needs all kinds of healthy things from you, but occasionally he or she might need peanut butter, bread, or ice cream. My baby needed cupcakes. Swear it.

The one thing I will say is that it's really enjoyable and easy to put it on. Not so much to take it off. That gal's gonna have seventy pounds to deal with--at least. Seventy. I had like thirty and I thought I was going to lose my mind right along with the weight! Perhaps that chicken and vegetable diet her doctor recommended might be a tad less fattening?
